Graffitti Playground is a performing arts company that was created through the vision of Choreographer/Dancer Dewayne Hambrick. Though considered as a “baby” in years of experience by those Performing Arts companies that are considered as veterans,with two years on its belt, Graffitti has accomplished much and touched many.In the members of Graffitti Playgrounds opinion this is a great place for talent and friendships to grow. Our main focus in Graffitti is Dance! Modern Jazz, African Dance,Ballet, Liturgucal,and Most Definitly HIP HOP are what is offered in Graffitti Playground. We are always looking for new dancers at Graffitti,membership is free, all we ask for is talent, rythym, a positive attitude,and dedication. Our practices are held in Mid-town. Without You: A Tribute to Jonathan Larson and the music of RENT

Jonathan Larson’s dream was to change the face of American Musical Theatre…..to bring the MTV crowd and Broadway together. He worked very hard for 15 years to became an “overnight success”. He truly lived the starving artists life that he wrote about.
